The ePMO's Process Excellence team helps the enterprise run more efficiently by improving workflows, leveraging data to guide decisions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. We work alongside Project Managers (PMs) to ensure projects are set up for long-term success. While PMs manage overall planning and coordination, we focus on optimizing the underlying processes. Our support is flexible and tailored to your project's objectives and expected deliverables.

We take a collaborative and data-driven approach. By engaging stakeholders early and often, we ensure that recommendations align with departmental and enterprise needs. When data is available, we use it to guide decisions, evaluate impact, and track long-term performance. We use a combination of Process Improvement tools and methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, and Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles. We also draw on best practices from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), Business Process Management (BPM) Institute, Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
